New Rules For Board Examinations-2019

The CBSE has announced 4 new rules that will be implemented from the Board Exams 2019. The Board Exams of the Central Board of Secondary Education for classes 10 and 12 have started from February 15. To enable stress free examination for the students, CBSE has posted the new rules for aiding the students and their parents. These are:

1. School Uniform Mandatory
Regular students must, compulsorily, arrive for their exams in Complete School Uniforms. If students don’t wear the complete uniform then they can be stopped for entry to the exam centre. Schools too have been told about this so that they send a notice to this effect to the students and their parents.

2. Parents Signature on Admit Card
Along with the candidates and principal’s signature on the admit card, this year Central Board of Secondary Education has created a column for parents’ signature. It’ll be the Candidates responsibility to have all the required signatures on the admission card of their CBSE board exam. Entry will not be permitted at the examination centre if any one signature column is left empty.

3. No Entry after 10 o’clock
No candidate will be allowed entry after 10 AM, in any condition. Therefore, all candidates and their parents are informed to ensure that they reach the examination centres on time.

4. Items permissible into the examination centre
Candidates must carry the required stationery in a transparent bag. Apart from these, candidates are only permitted to carry their admission cards of the CBSE Board. Candidates, who are diabetic, are permitted to take snacks with them. Also, no written material, mobile phone, purse or smartwatches are allowed within the exam hall.
