CBSE issues amendment of minimum land requirement clause for affiliation

With effect from 24th of Sept 2021, as per new amendment of minimum land requirement clause for affiliation, the proposed land requirement will be 4000 sq meters in case School are located under Municipal Authorities limits of cities with a population of minimum 10 lakhs and above, hilly area, State Capital Cities, North Eastern States, UT of J&K & Ladakh, Municipal Authorities of Ghaziabad, NOIDA, Faridabad and Gurugram cities only of National Capital Region and Municipal Authorities of Panchkula (Haryana) and Mohali/SAS Nagar (Punjab), the satellite cities of Chandigarh.

(All other conditions as mentioned in chapter 3 of Affiliation Bye-Laws, 2018 would remain same. This has been issued with the approval of the Competent Authority of the Board)

which was previously, as per clause no. 3.4 of Affiliation Bye Laws, 2018 the minimum land requirement was 4000 square meters in case School are located under Municipal Authorities limits of cities with a population of minimum 15 lakhs and above, hilly area, State Capital Cities, North Eastern States, State of J&K, Municipal Authorities of Ghaziabad, NOIDA, Faridabad and Gurugram cities only of National Capital Region and Municipal Authorities of Panchkula (Haryana) and Mohali/SAS Nagar (Punjab), the satellite cities of Chandigarh.
